| A Soldier Your Freedom he/she fights for you to keep So you will be safe while you sleep You condemn him/her for being wrong Yet the Soldier always stands strong While you have the right to complain A Soldier will fight for you, in any pouring rain While he/she leaves his/her family behind They are never very far from his/her mind Remember to cease on every negative word you may choose to say For YOU; a Soldier keeps terror at bay While as a Soldier; he/she may die While as a man/woman; he or she will not turn a blind eye Support our troops....and take part "Few who have never served their country will ever understand a soldier's heart. For WE shall Always Honor our Brave and Remember those Fallen; Forever in our prayers and in our hearts Our True Heroes who have served this country well; you will never be forgotten God Bless our Men and women of our US military, We thank you for our Freedoms May the ANGELS protect and guide you all. |

| In rememberance of our Fallen Heroes and to those who have served and.or are still serving America, today. Giving Thanks For the hay and the corn and the wheat that is reaped, For the labor well done, and the barns that are heaped, For the sun and the dew and the sweet honeycomb, For the rose and the song and the harvest brought home -- Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving! For the trade and the skill and the wealth in our land, For the cunning and strength of the workingman's hand, For the good that our artists and poets have taught, For the friendship that hope and affection have brought -- Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving! For the homes that with purest affection are blest, For the season of plenty and well-deserved rest, For our country extending from sea unto sea; The land that is known as the "Land of the Free" -- Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving! Are there many things we take for granted without pause as we rush through our days? Might we slow down for just a few seconds as small blessings we quickly appraise. Could we take a hot shower this morning, brush our teeth at a porcelain stand? Everyday acts, but seeming a luxury to soldiers gritty with alien sand. We could kiss our sweetheart and share a hug, a common embrace of affection unless you’re alone, far away from home, danger lurking in each direction. Later we’ll dine with dear family and friends while defenders send love from afar. Unselfishly, they wish us enjoyment - a freedom celebration unmarred. In a foreign land our soldiers struggle; to be with us how strongly they yearn. Please remember them this Thanksgiving Day and say a prayer for their quick return. God Bless our Troops! During this Holiday Season...... always and forever. WE THANK YOU. |
